Haiti Community Benzoliv Project:

A seed stock of Benzoliv seeds is being established to distribute to the Pastors and schools in Haiti.

The children will be taught farming principles using the Benzoliv seed as a visual aid.

A children’s colouring Benzoliv book has been produced, in Haitian Creol and will teach them the nutritional and medicinal values of Benzoliv that can also be used as educational posters for their schools and churches.

A 4 week Benzoliv children's curriculum has been developed to educate the children on the importance of Benzoliv as well as teach them about planting the Jesus seed and the Sowers Parable, using the Benzoliv as a visual aid over 4 weeks until the plant is established and ready for planting.

The little saplings once established will be taken home by children within the community and planted outside their homes. They will also be able to take an adult Benzoliv Eduational Brochure for their parents, that will also have an evangelism outreach bringing Hope to these families.

Jenny Tryhane, founder of UCT and Director of the Africa Bureau of Children's Discipleship introduced the African Community Moringa Project in preparation for establishing Food for Life Africa which can be reproduced in Haiti and throughtout the Caribbean.

The little saplings once established will be taken home and planted outside their homes.

Africa Community Moringa Project:

Adult training sessions will be hosted to educate the parents about the nutritional and health benefits of Benzoliv. An Educational Benzoliv French booklet has been produce and will be printed in Haiti as a means of health and nutritional adult education.

These sessions are excellent means to introduce the Stonecroft Bible Studies into the adult communities.

The children will be educated at school on Benzoliv's suitability as animal fodder and other trees eventually such as Mulberry the Biblical Sycamore will be introduced with the Zacchaeus story! A 4 week children's curriculum has been completed to introduce into the Primary schools.

Haiti Rabbit Feeding Program:

Moringa leaf meal (MOLM) can be used to improve daily weight gain in rabbits

We are believing God that we will be able to establish a rabbit feeding program for each of our Haiti PowerPlay Child Care Centres..

Benzoliv leaf meal (BLM) can be used to improve daily weight gain in rabbits

Benzoliv is non-toxic to rabbits at least at the 20% diet inclusion level.

It has the potential to reduce cholesterol level in blood and the meat of rabbits.

Moringa leaf meal (MOLM) can be used to improve daily weight gain in rabbits

Benzoliv leaf meal (BLM) could be used to replace soyabean meal (SBM) partially or completely in rabbit diets as a non-conventional protein source.

Moringa

A major constraint to livestock production in developing countries is the scarcity and fluctuating quantity and quality of the year-round feed supply. To be able to substitute with leafy plants like Benzoliv is a great benefit.
