| A
4 week Benzoliv children's curriculum has been developed to
educate the children on the importance of Benzoliv as well
as teach them about planting the Jesus seed and the Sowers
Parable, using the Benzoliv as a visual aid over 4 weeks until
the plant is established and ready for planting.
|
The little saplings once established will
be taken home by children within the community and planted
outside their homes. They will also be able to take an adult
Benzoliv Eduational Brochure for their parents, that will also
have an evangelism outreach bringing Hope to these families.
Jenny Tryhane, founder of
UCT and Director of the Africa Bureau of Children's Discipleship
introduced the African Community Moringa Project in preparation
for establishing Food for
Life Africa which can be reproduced in Haiti and throughtout
the Caribbean.
|
|
|
Adult training
sessions will be hosted to educate the parents about the nutritional
and health benefits of Benzoliv. An Educational Benzoliv French
booklet has been produce and will be printed in Haiti as a
means of health and
nutritional adult education.
These sessions are excellent
means to introduce the Stonecroft Bible Studies into the adult
communities.
|
The children will be educated at school on
Benzoliv's suitability as animal
fodder and other trees eventually such as Mulberry
the Biblical Sycamore will be introduced with the Zacchaeus
story! A 4 week children's curriculum has been completed to
introduce into the Primary schools.

After this initial African pilot project it is our desire
to establish a similar project though the Primary Schools
in Haiti.
As well as Barbados utilizing
our contacts already made through the Make
Jesus Smile shoebox project.
|
Please consider coming on board for this initial
Pilot project and get exposure on island at the beginning of the
new school term and throughout.
We are hoping that the children of Barbados will
sponsor a child in Afria or Haiti to go through this program it
will cost US $1 per child per month!
Cheques can be written out to United Caribbean
Trust and posted to:

Haiti Rabbit Feeding Program:
|
We are believing God that we
will be able to establish a rabbit feeding program for each
of our Haiti PowerPlay Child Care Centres..
Benzoliv leaf meal (BLM) can
be used to improve daily weight gain in rabbits
|
Benzoliv is non-toxic
to rabbits at least at the 20% diet inclusion level.
It has the potential to reduce cholesterol
level in blood and the meat of rabbits.
|
|
Benzoliv leaf meal (BLM) could be used to replace
soyabean meal (SBM) partially or completely in rabbit diets as
a non-conventional protein source.
|
A major constraint to livestock production
in developing countries is the scarcity and fluctuating
quantity and quality of the year-round feed supply. To be
able to substitute with leafy plants like Benzoliv is a
great benefit.
|
Help us
to sponsor our Haitian Community Benzoliv School Project.
Your US $30 per month will enable us
to:
- Feed your sponsored child at the church PowerClub
three times a week, after school utilizing Benzoliv as a dietary
supplement.
- It will supply all necessary materials needed
to host the PowerClub
- It will enable us to train more teachers in the
KIMI program and get this excellent program into the schools of
Haiti once a week starting with our 4 week French curriculum.
- It will enable us to print KIMI curriculums and
handbooks for local churches and schools including teaching and
training more Pastors and Sunday School teachers.
- It will allow us to host teacher refresher classes
once a quarter to update them on new KIMI curriculums
- It will allow us to build rabbit pens and purchase
rabbits and all that is needed to establish a rabbit feeding program
for the PowerClubs.
