Married women.
The Virtuous woman can make you feel inadequate, but the Word of God always brings freedom and release, off course it also brings condemnation. It will unleash untapped graces as a woman of wisdom

Unmarried men.
The mother is teaching her son who was called to be a king. She taught him about a key portion in his life that would impact the rest of his life. You are not to compromise who you should marry.

The number one compromise for young people is their relationship.

Married men
As we read Proverbs 31 this is not to be a weapon in your hand to against your wives.

Ephesians 5: 25
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

Married men have a high mandate, to love her as Christ loved the church. Proverbs is a gift for you to be able to pray over your wives. To draw out the gifting and graces in your wife.
To lead her to be all that she is called to be. Wash her with the word of God over her life.

Proverbs 31: 10
10 Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies.

The mother is addressing her son who is called to impact his society, she asks him ‘who can find a virtuous wife?” Virtuous here means strength, valour, excellent in all areas.

1 Peter 3: 7
Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel

Sometimes that can give a picture of a very needy wife, it can give a false picture. This is referring to the weaker vessel, the body. Men are obviously stronger physically. This verse refers to nurturing, caring and protecting.

So King Lemuel’s mother is saying, son you are not going to easily find this sort of women. Proverbs 31: 10a Who can find a virtuous wife? You are going to have to seek her out

But she is worth looking for Proverbs 31: 10b For her worth is far above rubies.

The worth of the virtuous women is compared to the value of wisdom, because she will enrich every area of your life. But you are going to have to pray for her. Become somebody worth finding. Press into God

Proverbs 31: 11a
11 The heart of her husband safely trusts her;

The depth of the man, the heart of a husband that is married to a woman of valour can safely trust her.
It is good to be expressive, to feel compassion, the enemy tries to pervert what God does, so he manipulates you, and become irrational. You are a woman of strength. Husbands need to declare this over their wives.
How you respond will determine your relationship.
How do you deal with your finances?
How do you deal with the agreements that you made as husband and wife.
A trust worth person says if its important to you its important to me.
You are becoming a women of character. The heart of her husband safely trusts her.

Proverbs 31: 11b
11 So he will have no lack of gain.
The husband that understands his wife is trust worth can focus on his assignment so he will profit from your trust worthiness’

But the husband that is having to constantly watch over his wife, who is so needy, he is undivided. He loses opportunities because his wife is so needy, you must be a woman of strength.
If he has no lack of gain, you benefit, your family is financially stable.

Proverbs 31: 12
12 She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.

All the days, not just 3 weeks of the month. The women of strength will continue to do what is right regardless of the circumstances around her. Many times you will have to come and apologize . You don’t have to be perfect but your heart needs to be right and does everything as unto the Lord.

We all have flesh, and you want to react. Sorry becomes a part of your vocabulary

Proverbs 31: 13a
13 She seeks wool and flax,

She sheers the sheep and seeks flax.
We get to go shopping!! We have to touch, this is us seeking the wool and flax!
Don’t forget our husband trust us. So if we don’t have it in the budget we don’t go out spending what we don’t have.

Proverbs 31: 13b
13 And willingly works with her hands.

She delights in working for her family. This doesn’t come natural! Cleaning, cooking, more cleaning…. Call yourself to an attitude of willingness to work.
With a grateful heart that delights in serving your family. If the King of Kings came to serve, surely I can serve.

Proverbs 31: 14
14 She is like the merchant ships,
She brings her food from afar.

She is willing to travel to bring the best for her family.

Proverbs 31: 15a
15 She also rises while it is yet night,
And provides food for her household,

A person of virtue is willing to rise up early to prepare for her family and those that help you. Are you prepared for your day, or does your household look like ‘Home Alone’

Proverbs 31: 15b
15 And a portion for her maidservants.

Ask the Lord to bring people, to do what people can do, so you can focus, on doing what the Lord called you to do. A woman of strength does not mean you have to do everything.

Husbands start praying over your wives. Partner together, God’s principles work. It has everything to do with you saying God I want that sort of family, I am going to continue to look to you, because you have answers to everything.
