It is estimated that 90% of
the capital city of Haiti has been destroyed in the earthquake.

It has been estimated that over
100,000 people died within 60 seconds. The dead could be seen
in the streets and along the roadside.
The rich and the poor were impacted
alike, seen here a mud hut and below the Presidential Palace!
People came from all over Haiti to see the
Palace of which they were so proud...
Most people in Port au Prince continue to sleep under tents,
tarps or sheets. From a distance it may look like fun, but on
close reflection the level of hardship and distress is unimaginable.
