First Church of Bon Berger Teacher Training Camp

Special thanks to the First Church of Bon Berger in Les Cayes for hosting the Kids' EE Teacher Training Summer Camp in August 2009.

Enabling us to train 60 teachers from 37 different ministries in the Les Cayes area. Praise God!

The camp was off to a flying start with a rousing Scripture Fun Fair with over 150 children joining in the fun and learning that the Word of God is powerful to change lives.

They learned that God loves to listen to us. We talk to Him in prayer, we can hear from Him and we can know Him better if we read His Word.

The teachers began to build a relationship with the children as they interviewed them.

The children that were waiting to be interviewed didn't mind because they got to make some very BIG glasses and BIG ears, all the better to read the Word and to hear from God as well as hear from each other.

As at every camp the kids loved to pose with their finished product!

Day three was a teacher training day and they continued to build relationships as they learned the importance of listening to each other as they asked the two very important questions...

"Eske ou kwe vreman ou pral nan Syel ak Bondye yon jou?"

Thursday was a busy day as the children joined the camp and learned that Heaven was a FREE gift.

Seen here reading from the Bible about Heaven discovering what a beautiful place it is. BUT we will only get there by trusting in Jesus alone for the gift of eternal life.

Pou ki reson ki fe ou pa pran kado sa?

We do... we all sin and we cannot save ourselves!

The teachers joined in with the fun as the children made their 'sin paper chain realizing that ...

'The wages of sin is death'

BUT

' The gift of God is eternal life'

Jesus made an appearance and covered the children with His blood ...

breaking the bondage of sin and setting them FREE!

There has to be a different way... God's way.

We have a problem and God solved that problem by sending His Son Jesus...

The kids had great fun making their JEZI crowns and were keen to pose for their photographes to be taken.

Special thanks to the videographer that has assisted in producing the teacher training DVD and who staged the lighting and setting for the production.

Thanks to the TV station that interviewed Jenny and Pastor Banes and gave us air time to express the vision that God has given us for the children of Haiti.

Thanks to the Bible Society of Haiti for donating these wonderful books that have been distributed to hundreds of children all over Haiti from St Marc in the north to Jacmel in the south and Les Cayes and Port Salut in the south west.

Praise God may He continue to bless this excellent organization that is doing a wonderful job in Haiti.

A great BIG THANK YOU to HaitiOne who donated 1000 lbs of corn for our last camps in Les Cayes. Praise be to God we were able to feed the children physically and Spiritually.
