MATERIALS: Laptop and sound system to play music. Multimedia projector and screen to show the PowerPoint.
Print: Obedience game visual aid.

Photocopy: Teacher Notes/Handout. Bible Verse Visual Aids and student take home ‘Sword Play Memory Verse Track’. Activity books for youth. Seven SOAP Daily Devotional Journals photocopy a set of seven for each teen to take home.

AS YOUTH ARRIVE PRIOR TO THE LESSON:
Welcome Teacher/Trainers and students. Get ten of the younger children to colour the Bible Verse Visual Aids.

1. OPENING GAME: (For Junior youth only 10 minutes)
Optional: Download the Obedience Game song:

This is an obedience game getting faster and faster
Hands on hips,
Hands on knees,
Put them behind you,
If you please.

2. TEAM GAMES: (For Junior youth only 10 minutes)
Blindfold football!
Divide the team into two teams. Select a ‘shooter’ from each team. Place two empty bottles like goalpost at both ends of the room or area like football field.

Blow up two balloons a red and a blue. The red team positioned at one end the blue team at the other. Blindfold the ‘shooter’ and place the balloon in front of them. The team can give verbal instructions to assist their ‘shooter’ to kick the balloon football! The two teams try to score as many goals as possible during a specified time set before hand.
How difficult was it to walk in the dark?How easy was it to follow directions from the team?

3. ACTIVE PRAISE CHORUS: (10 minutes):

4. INTIMATE WORSHIP: (5 minutes)

5.TEACHING:
a) Review

Some students may come to this lesson following the Living Free Ministries Deliverance Sessions.

In Session #6 we prayed a special blessing over them.

• We prayed that they would be filled with the Holy Spirit
• We prayed that the fruits of the Holy Spirit begin manifesting in their life
• We prayed that the Holy Spirit stir up the gifts of the Spirit inside them.
• We prayed and dispatched warring angels around them, to help fight any spiritual battle they may encounter.
• We prayed that that they would keep all doors closed. Not allowing sin in their lives.
• We encourage them to say the “warfare prayers” every day. Both day-time, and night time.

They went throught the Deliverance using the Open Door List and Strongholds List as a guide. We spoke Proclamations over their lives and they were invited to join the Youth OSL at Sesson #8.

In the last Youth OSL Session James told us that if we are hearer and not a doer it’s like someone who glanced in the mirror and sees something stuck in his tooth and does nothing about it and walks around all day wondering why people are acting funny! We look and see ourselves yet do nothing about it. So we can see the Lord and then the Holy Spirit shows us, not only with all our faults but also as we are now as a new creation. Soon it’s not just our spirit that is becoming more like Him but our mind. So instead of being condemned we see our righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

Review the Memory Verse 1 Corinthians 5: 17
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Remember Weapons will be formed but they will not prosper. The Bible tells us No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment, You shall condemn.

This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, “And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.

b) Sword Play
Ready…Swords up… Romans 5: 12… CHARGE!
12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—

(Use the Bible Verse Visual Aid and listen to the Bible verse audio to assist with learning the verse)

c) Teaching the Lesson - Righteousness Consciousness
Set up the Multimedia projector and screen to show the PowerPoint, or connect to the TV.
Use the Teachers Notes to assist with managing the PowerPoint.
Set up the Laptop connected to the sound system to play the Faithbuilder MP3 Righteousness Consciousness

SOAP:

• Review and discuss the seven SOAP BibIe Study Devotional Journals from last week.
Give each youth the next seven SOAP Devotional Bible Study Handouts one for each day of the week to follow.

6. APPLICATION/ENCOUNTERING GOD:
Set up the Laptop connected to the sound system to play soft worship music to set the atmosphere.
Isaiah 54: 17 we learnt that no weapon formed against you will work. Weapons will be formed but they will not work. Isaiah speaking prophetically telling us this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and God buts in and says “their righteousness is from Me,” says the Lord. Is it because we are good? NO. Obedient? NO. It’s from me says the Lord.
God takes care of our sin issues in house, our righteousness is from Me says the Lord. It cannot be diminished, the righteousness of Jesus never is deficient. Don’t let anything slow you down, you are somebody. This is the Judge talking, even if you sin, the case is closed.

Open the alters for those young people who want to ask God to give them the strength that they need to stay free.

CLOSING PRAYER: I set my mind on the things of the spirit who I am in Christ, who I am in the faith by the grace of the lord. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus I am more than a conquer nobody and nothing can stop me from being who I am called to be, not even my flesh can stop me. I am right with God, I am born of His Spirit. I have got the authority of the name of Jesus, I have His power working in me I have the mind of Christ, the wisdom of God, the power or the HOLY SPIRIT flowing inside of me. I am unstoppable, because God is with me, I can accomplish great things, overcome any obstacle, because of who I am, I am right with God, things are changing for me, things are looking up, problems will bow their knees to the name of Jesus when I speak it and declare the Word of God it has the same effectiveness as when God said ‘Let there be light’ and there was light.

I have a right to use His Word. I have a right to use the name of Jesus. Everything I put my hand too it will prosper it will work because God is leading me.

God loves me, He smiles at me, He believes in me, I am part of his family and my righteousness is from Him. He said it was. He covers me, He has my back, so I put on now, by faith, the breastplate of righteousness. My faith in the righteousness is a breastplate to me it dissolves condemnation and anything anyone says against me. Any guilt trip, it catches it

I know who I am, I am super human, born again, spirit filled child of the most high God. I will make a difference, if God is for me who can be against me. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, no evil will befall me, I am forgiven, washed clean and I am with my God and He is with me forever.
