Everyone gets a piece of paper taped to their back. (Make sure

a) Review
Who can remember last weeks Memory Verse? (Create in me a clean
heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm
51:10)
Last week we leant about protecting your heart how do we do that?
(Watch what you see, here, do and go)
If you can control what you see and hear what will happen? (It
will control what goes into your heart.)
If you can control what goes into your heart what will be the effect?
(You can control what comes out of your mouth.)
If you don’t control your mouth what else do you control?
(Your feet.)
If your feet are not there neither are you! There are places you
should not be. Don’t go there!
b) Sword Play
Ready…Swords up… Ephesians 2: 8-9… CHARGE!
8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and
this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not
by works, so that no one can boast.
(Use the Bible
Verse Visual Aid to assist with learning the
verse)
Print off the Bible Verse and tape the sections to the bottom
of the chair prior to class. Once the youths have found the verses
get the 7 youths to come to the front of the room and sort them
into the correct order. Repeat the verse in total. Give the sections
to 7 more youth and get them to unjumble them and repeat the verse,
continue until they can recite the verse.
(Listen to the MP3
audio of Ephesians 2: 8-9 to help learn the
Bible Verse)
1) For it is by grace you have been saved,

receive your righteous as a free gift I can’t earn it, I don’t
have to earn it and I refuse to try to earn it. I am forgiven, I
am right with God not because of me but because of you. I receive
you and what you did for me so I declare about myself I am the righteous
of God in Christ Jesus and I will stay the righteousness of God
not because of my obedience but is connected to Jesus’ obedience
never changes so my righteous never changes because my righteous
is not connected to my obedience but to Jesus obedience. I believe
in this righteousness God looks at me He looks pass my flesh, weakness,
addictions and short-comes and he sees the free gift of righteousness
and declares me to be righteousness. I am right with God, guilt
your days are over for making me feel bad, I am not disconnected
from God I am connected to God because of the blood of Jesus because
of His obedience I am right with God.
CLOSING PRAYER: Heavenly Father in according to
Galatians 2:20 I confess that I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless
I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I
now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who
loved me, and gave himself for me. I thank you that I am right with
God I am forgiven from my sins, I acknowledge that I can’t
make it better by obeying more. It’s my gift from you God
almighty, so Father I can come boldly to the thrown of grace covered
with the blood of Jesus and receive the help I need because of this
righteousness that you will look at me and see Jesus because I have
His righteousness. Amen.
