MATERIALS: Laptop and sound system to play music. Multimedia projector and screen to show the PowerPoint.
Assortment of fruit and two boxes for Game 1. Rope for Game 2.
Photocopy: Teacher Notes/Handout. Bible Verse Visual Aids and student take home ‘Sword Play Memory Verse Track’. Activity books for youth. Seven SOAP Daily Devotional Journals photocopy a set of seven for each teen to take home.

AS YOUTH ARRIVE PRIOR TO THE LESSON:
Welcome Teacher/Trainers and students. Get ten of the younger youths to colour the Bible Verse Visual Aids.

1. OPENING GAME: (For Junior youth only 10 minutes)
You will need an assortment of fruit and two boxes. Place the fruit in the boxes. Cut a round hole in the side of each box large enough to fit a hand into. Allow volunteers to come forward, call out a fruit name. The contestants reach in and try to be the first to find the fruit by touch and pull it out. Today we will learn about the New You producing fruit!

2. TEAM GAMES: (For Junior youth only 10 minutes)
Organize into two teams for an unfair game of Tug of War. Place all the bigger and stronger young men on one side and the younger youth on the other side. Who do you think will win? Why? [Then join the younger, weaker team, get other adults to help and make sure they win!] Did the game turn out the way you expected? Why not? Sometimes we get worried when a problem seems too big. We may panic if we forget that God is on our side. We are winners

3. ACTIVE PRAISE CHORUS: (10 minutes)
God makes things grow

4. INTIMATE WORSHIP: (5 minutes)
We want to see Jesus lifted high

5.TEACHING:
a) Review
Last week we leant about the Great Exchange. Can anyone explain this?
( Jesus proved his righteous by passed every temptation, and He became sin in place of us so we can take His righteousness in place of Him , this is the great exchange.)

W e prayed Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Can anyone give me some examples of this?

b) Sword Play
Ready…Swords up… John 3: 5… CHARGE!

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit."

What does that mean? (Water is your first birth, you were birthed in water but the spirit is the second birth and your spirit is born into the Kingdom.) Stop looking with your natural eyes and start seeing yourself as a new creation.Discussion

c) Teaching the Lesson - The New You
Set up the Multimedia projector and screen to show the PowerPoint or connect to the TV.
Use the Teachers Notes to assist with managing the PowerPoint.

SOAP

• Review and discuss the seven SOAP BibIe Study Devotional Journals from last week.
• Give each youth the next seven SOAP Devotional Bible Study Handouts one for each day of the week to follow.

6. APPLICATION/ENCOUNTERING GOD:
Set up the Laptop connected to the sound system to play soft worship music to set the atmosphere.

Our sins brakes fellowship with God and you don’t just want relationship with God but also fellowship with God.

Begin to see yourself differently, we are not going to see ourselves according to the flesh but the righteousness of God.
So we are going to give the opportunity to confess sin right now, humble yourself and confess.

Open the alters for those young people to come and confess sin right now, humble themselves and confess their sins.

CLOSING PRAYER: According to the word of God I am the righteousness of God, I am right with God, I am a man of God, God loves me my spirit is cleansed from sin and all unrighteousness, God looks at me and sees pass my flesh, past my weakness and attitudes and sees my spirit born again, righteous, a new creation, old things passed away, all of its new, all is of God , I am part of his family, He sees the resembles between my spirit and himself, I am part of the family so I am right with God he has declared me as being pure, as being His, as being right for ever and ever I receive this by Grace not by my obedience but by Christ’s obedience, not by my righteousness but by Christ’s righteousness but He gave it to me, so it is mine. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

DECLARATION: I am a new person, I am not a sinner, I am free from sin, I got a fresh start, I refuse to look at myself on the outward, I look on the inward, the sprit man, I am right with God by the Grace of the Lord Jesus and by His blood. I am clean, I am forgiven, I can hold my head up high put a smile on my face because my God, my Fathe,r loves me, he smiles on me, He sees me for who I really am, He tells people I am His child. I am part of that family and I will be forever because it’s not based on me, it’s based on Jesus, so even when I mess up, even when I sin, my fellowship is broken but my relationship is secure, solid, based on the grace of God. So I confess my sins and the Lord cleanses me, purifies me and my fellowship is restored and I can hang out with my Father and my Lord Jesus and my brothers and sisters and enjoy my new life of being right with God, I declare it, in Jesus name. Amen
