6. APPLICATION/ENCOUNTERING GOD:
Set up the Laptop connected to the sound system to play soft worship
music to set the atmosphere.
If all I do is recognize that you are God that is not the fear
of the Lord. The fear is being afraid that God will do what He said
He would do, that the Bible is going to play out as it says it will
play out. The fear of the Lord is being afraid that things will
turn out as God said it would. If God said don’t do something,
don’t do it.
There is no one more loving than God but there is no way around
Him, He is trying to get your attention but if you harden your heart
to Him and He continues to warn you and send others to warn you
and stop going to church the day will come when what God will do
what He said He would do, we have a choice. It is not just respect.
A healthy fear of God is a discipline that will alter our behavior
and you don’t compromise.
Don’t ignore wisdom, God wants to pour His spirit out on
you. The time will come if you continue to turn your back on wisdom,
then wisdom will turn her back on you.
Let’s have a time where we are honest with God, this is the
end of this series and we don’t want to leave the same. Repeat
this prayer after me.
CLOSING PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, you know
that I have sinned, you know what I have struggled with. I confess
it now, it is sin it is wrong, I don’t want any part of it,
I need your help, I need the power of the Word, to get to work in
my life.
Satan I tell you right now, from this time forward, you have no
right to bind me, to hook me, to trap me and hold me down, the Lord
rebuke you Satan. I command you to stop your lies, take your guilt
and condemnation, and get out of my life. I receive the joy and
peace of God, I am the righteousness of Christ, I am not the old
person any longer. I am a brand new person, washed in the blood
of Jesus, strengthened, empowered by the Holy Spirit, filled with
the Word of God.
I have a new life, I am dead to sin, but alive to God, He is going
to use me to accomplish big things, I declare myself free from sins,
I am pure and holy before the Lord my God, things are looking up,
and the Word of God is flushing me out, loosing my bondages forever,
in Jesus name. Amen
