Uganda Hope Guest House

Kampala Uganda Mission Hope Guest House supporting Hope Child Care Centre

United Caribbean Trust (UCT) has been working in Uganda for over four years and our UCT representative has recently grasped the opportunity to purchase on behalf of the founder of UCT a lovely Guest House property in Kampala, located next to an abandoned orphanage.

This will provide the resources needed to refurbish and run the Hope Child Care Centre (HCCC) a 2 ½ acre property on the outskirts of Kampala next door to Hope Guest House. HCCC has recently been leased by United Caribbean Trust's African arm “African Bureau of Child Discipleship” (ABCD) to estabalish the our first African child care centre.

ABCD wishes to establish Hope House which will be a safe haven, a Residential Rehabilitation Refuge for female 'child soldiers' from Uganda and DR Congo and the Hope Drop In Center which will be a place where street girls can come and shower, rest, talk to qualified councilors, become involved in activities and access social services within the Hope Child Care Centre.

This four bedroom, two bathroom property is capable of housing 8 people comfortably.

Set on a large plot of land on the outskirts of the capital of Uganda it is ideally located to establish a small Guest House.

There is a large master bedroom with ensuite bathroom upstairs leading out onto its own private patio.

Hope Guest House contains a large lounge and library on the ground floor plus a coffee room and well equipped indoor and outdoor kitchen.

Outdoors there is a shaded area ideal to create a patio to sit and relax.

The garage has been redecorated and carpeted and converted into the ABCD Headquarters, this will eventually be relocated into one of the annexes in the ground and this room will be convered into a large dining room for the 8 residence staying in the guest house.

Meet the team..

Hope Guest House is home to Rev Abraham and his beautiful wife Maggie and their children. They have agreed to relocate to a newly refurbished property in the grounds of Hope Child Care Centre once all refurbishment work is completed in Hope Guest House.

This will enable them to be hands on in the orphanage and also manage the Guest House.

Within the grounds are two large dorms, major referbishment has begun.

These 2 halls will each hold 6 bunk beds = 12 persons per hall 24 persons in total plus the 8 from the Guest House is a total of 32 residents..

This will generate the much needed income to run the orphanage located next door.
