With this in mind we want to do whatever it
takes to reach the women in communities that have otherwise
not been reached with the Good News, through a Women’s
Empowerment Sponsorship Program.
|
Reaching out to women in the 10/40 window and third world
countries such as Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia DR Congo and Uganda.

Mothers within the Women’s Empowerment Sponsorship Program
are enrolled for a minimum of one year to eighteen months maximum.
(This time frame will depend upon weather we are able to raise
the additional sponsorship to purchase her own personal sewing machine.)
The Women’s Empowerment Sponsorship Program will cost US
$50 per month.
For this she
will be entitled to attend a weekly ‘Encountering
God’ devotional time, utilizing the Stonecroft
Bible Study materials, translated into her native language.
|
|
She will also be able to attend a variety
of Empowerment classes such as Sewing, Computer skills, Book
Keeping, Moringa Processing, Animal Husbandry etc. enabling
her to earn a living, support her children and regain her
self-esteem.
Your contributions of US $50 per month will support her year-long
participationin a variety of Life Skills Programs.
|
|
|
Provide her with vocational and technical
skills and training instrumental in ensuring that she receives
the tools she needs to regain her strength and stability and
access to income generation support.
|
But above all it will open the door of opportunity to introduce
her to the Stonecroft Bible Study material and encourage her
to share her faith with her friends and family.
|
|
|
She will be entitled, as part of the Women's
Empowerment Sponsorship program, to bring one child to attend
the After
School Feeding Club at least once a week to be fed physically
and Spiritually.
An additional US $10 per month will enable
your 'sister' to bring along another child to the Child After
School Feeding Club.
|
We encourage you to write to your new ‘friend’
your letters will provide an emotional lifeline to a woman who may
have lost everything due to war, natural disaster or abject poverty.
The structure of each country’s program varies
slightly due to social, economic, political, cultural and religious
factors.

It is our desire
to reach out to the poor in a way that demonstrates God’s
love while empowering the needy to free themselves from poverty. Jenny seen here in

Service to the
poor is not only of benefit to those being served (and to
those who are serving), but it brings honor to God. |
He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for
their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.
Proverbs 14:31 NIV |

An exciting new development has arisen that will enable
us to employ some of the women in the Empowerment Program
to sew our new HopePAK for the
street children
in Kampala and Dar Es Salaam.
|
The HopePAK back pack transforms into smart fashonable jacket, then into a
raincoat and eventually into a sleeping bag with inflatable
pillow at night, and back into a back pack when not in use!

AFRICA 'WOMEN'S EMPOWERMENT' STONECROFT BIBLE CLUB:
|
We are looking now at introducing the Swahili Stonecroft Bible Study as part of this progamme so as the ladies arrive for their empowerment we are able to share with them the Good News using this excellent material.
|
|
This programme can be duplicated in Malawi as an outreach, empowerment arm of the Africa Training Bible School using the Stonecroft Trinity Series already translated into Chichewa for the ladies of Malawi
|
|
Finally the translation in French is complete and we can now introduce this programme into DR Congo and Haiti.
Special thanks to Stonecroft Ministries for allowing us to translate this material, we will be working on other studies over the years to expand this ministry into Mozambique and other African countries. |
