Dominica Child Sponsorship

By sharing God's
blessings to you with some of these children in the Carib Territory
in Dominica you can give a child an education and a future with
hope.
This can make a difference for eternity
in a child's life.
Seen here the children from the
World Revival Pre Primary School where
(UCT) will be, God willing, establishing the Dominica
child sponsorship pilot project.

Impact to distribute the Make
Jesus Smile shoboxes to the children of Dominica.

What will
your US $30 per month achieve?
The money will be divided
into 2 modules
- The first 1/3rd of the fees will go to the school
to cover school fees, uniform, shoes, books, pencils etc.
- The last 2/3rd will go towards funding the After
School Club similar to the one established in Haiti. This will include
an afternoon feeding programme and a child educational, character
building, drug awareness, evangelical teaching programme and Bible
Study for the children and their mothers.

Adopt a Dominican School is a new programme being introduced which
enables another school, University, corporate company, charity
organization or church, either from within the Caribbean or Internationally
to help and support Pre Primary schools within Dominica. |
ARCHIVE
The founder of UCT, Jenny Tryhane and UCT Early
Childhood Co-Ordinator, Paulette Scantlebury, traveled to Dominica
last Christmas and again to Haiti mid May and delivered and
distributed the Make Jesus Smile
shoe boxes.

We plan, God willing to return
to Dominica with more shoe boxes, using these gifts as a means
to introduce the Child Sponsorship Program.
As the child receives the box and is photographed,
information is obtained and a web page is created for that child
and the potential is established to be sponsored and have a
life changing experience.
Praise God this became a reality in the summer
of 2008. |
