End Times - Psalm 83 War
Psalm 83 war
1 O God, do not remain silent; do not turn a deaf ear,
do not stand aloof, O God.
2 See how your enemies growl, how your foes rear their heads.
3 With cunning they conspire against your people; they plot against
those you cherish.
4 “Come,” they say, “let us destroy them as a
nation, so that Israel’s name is remembered no more.”
5 With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against
you (Psalm 83:1-5)
COUNTRIES THAT WILL BE INVOLVED IN THE PSALM 83 WAR
6 The tents of Edom (Southern Jordan)
and the Ishmaelites, (Saudi Arabia)

and the Hagarenes;(Iraq)
7 Gebal, (Northern Lebanon) and Ammon,
(NorthernJordan) and Amalek; (Sinai area

with the inhabitants of Tyre; (Southern Lebanon)
8 Assur also is joined with them: they have helpen
the children of Lot. Selah.
(Psalm 83:6-8)
The Bible refers to both the Ammonites and Moabites as
the “children of Lot”
37 The older daughter had a son, and she named him
Moab; he is the father of the Moabites of today. 38 The younger
daughter also had a son, and she named him
Ben-Ammi; he is the father of the Ammonites of today. (Genesis 19:37-38)
9a Do unto them as unto the Midianites; (Psalm
83:9a)
The LORD caused the men throughout the camp to turn
on each other with their swords. (Judges 7:22)
9b. as to Sisera, (Psalm
83:9b)
Deborah Defeats Sisera’s army
The LORD routed Sisera and all his chariots and army
by the sword, and Sisera abandoned his chariots and fled on foot.
(Judges 4:15)
9c. as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: (Psalm
83:9c)
Deborah Defeats King Jabin
On that day God subdued Jabin, the Canaanite king,
before the Israelites. And the hand of the Israelites grew stronger
and stronger against Jabin until they destroyed him (Judges 4:15)
MOTIVE
12 who said, “Let us take possession of the pasturelands
of God.” (Psalm 83:12)
16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek
thy name, O LORD.
17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be
put to shame, and perish:
18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art
the most high over all the earth. (Psalm 8:16-18)
GOD’S PROMISE / GOD’S JUDGEMENT
The Bible tells us that the national security Israel so desperately
seeks today occurs via the judgments executed “on all
those around them who despise them”
"Thus says the Lord GOD: "When I have gathered
the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered,
and am hallowed in them in the sight of the Gentiles, “then
they will dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob.
And they will dwell safely there, build houses, and plant vineyards;"
(Ezekiel 28:25)
IS ISRAEL DWELLING IN SAFTEY? NO
YES (says God),
they (Israel) will dwell securely,
when I execute judgments on all those around them who despise them.
Then they shall know that I am the LORD their God.“ (Isaiah
28:25-26)
JUDGEMENT ON SOUTHERN JORDAN
Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “I
will stretch out my hand against Edom (Southern Jordan)
and kill its men and their animals.” (Ezekiel 25 :
13a)
JUDGEMENT ON NORTHERN JORDAN
“But the days are coming,” declares the
LORD, "when I will sound the battle cry against Rabbah of the
Ammonites” [Ammon, Northern Jordan]; (Jeremiah
49:2)
JUDGEMENT ON CENTRAL JORDAN
"Therefore, as I live," Says the LORD of
hosts, the God of Israel, "Surely Moab (Central Jordan)
shall be like Sodom… (Zephaniah 2:9a)
JUDGEMENT ON SAUDI ARABIA
“I [the LORD] will
lay it waste, and from Teman to Dedan [Saudi Arabia]
they will fall by the sword.” (Ezekiel 25 : 13b)
JUDGEMENT ON SYRIA
“See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will
become a heap of ruins.” (Isaiah 17:1)
JUDGEMENT ON IRAN
The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet
against Elam …saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; “Behold,
I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might”. (Jeremiah
49:34,35)
Why Elam? Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant
On November 11, 2014, Iran and Russia signed a deal to build up
two new nuclear reactors on the site of the Bushehr Nuclear Power
Plant. A further two reactors of the same type are planned, and
a preliminary agreement was made in 2014, details have still to
be agreed.
Israel’s Borders Expand:
The scale of devastation in this war has led many to believe that
Israel will use nuclear weapons. The conflict between Israel and
her neighbors is over in one night. Israel does to her neighbors
what they sought to do to her:
“Then behold, at eventide, trouble! And before
the morning, he is no more. This is the portion of those who plunder
us, and the lot of those who rob us.” (Isaiah 17:14)
The massive loss of life on Israel's side in the war supports the
idea that the threat to Israel's existence will come to the point
that they will have no choice but to unleash what is known as the
"Samson Option”
The New Middle East
18 So the Lord made a covenant with Abram that day
and said, “I have given this land to your descendants, all
the way from the border of Egypt to the great Euphrates River”
(Genesis 15:18)
At the end of this war, Israel’s borders will
be reset to that of, or very close to, the borders that God established
for Israel in the covenant with Abraham.
