Remember Yeshua is woven through the entire fabric of the Bible.
The feast days of Israel is God’s prophetic calendar of Redemption. The first four feast are fulfilled at the first coming of Jesus the lamb of God. While the last three feast are fulfilled at the Second Coming.

The Israelites knew the blood of the lamb had protected them from the death of their firstborn on that first Passover night they kept in Egypt - (Exodus 12:12-13)

As Passover initiated Israel’s exodus from slavery in Egypt.
So Christ’s crucifixion initiated the elect’s exodus from the dominion of the devil, the slavery of sin and the bondage of the world.

The Feast of Unleavened Bread takes place the day after Passover picturing the burial of Christ and our sins which were buried with Him.

Just as this festival symbolizes both sinlessness and holiness.
So Christ was sinless and perfectly holy.

FIRSTFRUITS
Firstfruits marks the beginning of the cereal grain harvests in Israel. Of the crops sown in winter, barley is the first grain to ripen.

Jesus rose from the dead on the third day of Passover season (Nisan 16), on the day of Firstfruits, completing the prophetic picture the spring feasts painted of His work of redemption:

REVIEW
Jesus’
Death (Passover)
Burial (Unleavened Bread)
Resurrection (Firstfruits).

PENTECOST
The Jews would count fifty days from the Feast of Firstfruits.

The Feast of Pentecost was celebrated on the fiftieth day, hence the name ‘Pentecost’ from the Greek for ‘fifty.’

The wheat crop was brought in during that time, and it was a time of rejoicing and thanksgiving to the Lord.

The antitypical fulfillment of this harvest can also be seen at Pentecost when many souls are harvested in this season of the "early rains" of the Holy Spirit.

Just as the Spring Feasts includes three distinct feast, so the festive season of the seventh month (in late September or October) includes three fall feast:

These are:

• The Feast of Trumpets
• The Day of Atonement
• The Feast of Tabernacles

The Feast of Trumpets

1. STAGE #1:

JESUS’ PROCESSION ACROSS THE SKY: TO RAPTURE THE CHURCH

A. The second coming procession begins in the sky when Jesus travels across the entire earth on the clouds at the last trumpet. (1 Cor. 15:51-52; Rev. 11:15)

B. Jesus will be seen by every eye, every person (believers and unbelievers). This requires a global procession over every inhabited place on earth, including each remote island of the sea. (Rev. 1:7)

C. The rapture will not be a secret event, but a dramatic event, causing all the unbelievers on earth to mourn as they see Jesus with their natural eye (rather than by technology).

They will have seen many false signs done by the Antichrist and others.
(2 Thes. 2:9-10; Rev. 13:13-14; (Mt. 24:24)

D. The angels will gather the saints from one end of the sky to the other after every eye has seen Jesus, who is traveling on the clouds. (Mt. 24:30-31)

E. His procession across the sky requires that Jesus be close enough to be seen and
that the process is slow enough for each person (not raptured) to interpret what is going on so that they mourn. What they see produces awe and/or terror in them

The Day of Atonement

II. STAGE #2 JESUS’ PROCESSION ON THE LAND: THROUGH JORDAN (EDOM)

A. Jesus will descend from heaven and eventually come to the Mount of Olives.
(Zech. 14:4-5)

The march progressively unfolds, including a series of events that could take place over days.

B. Jesus will march through the city of Bozrah in Edom (modern-day Jordan) killing His enemies on His way to Jerusalem.
(Isa. 34:5; (Zech. 9:14; Ps. 110:5-6; Num. 24:17a-18; Rev. 19:17; Isa. 63:1-4)

C. The fact that the “heavens opened” (Rev. 19:11) Jesus did not get blood on His robe in the heavenly descent, but rather in the march through the land.

D. Jesus will come as the “greater Moses,” who will release the bowls of wrath as He marches to Jerusalem in a way that is parallel to how Moses released the ten plagues on Egypt (Ex. 7-12)

15 “As in the days when you came out of Egypt, I will show them my wonders.” (Mic. 7:15)

E. The seven bowls will be released immediately prior to Jesus entering Jerusalem to win the Battle of Jerusalem and to end the Armageddon campaign

F. David prophesied that Jesus will dash the nations or destroy the social infrastructures of the Antichrist’s empire. (Ps. 2:8-9; Rev. 19:15; Rev. 2:26-27)

III. STAGE #3

JESUS’ PROCESSION INTO JERUSALEM: HIS TRIUMPHAL ENTRY

A. The final stage of the second coming procession brings us to the high point of world history. Jesus will make a triumphal entry into Jerusalem, going to the Mount of Olives and then to His throne in the temple.
(Ps. 24:8; Jer. 3:17-18; Zech. 6:12-13; Ezek. 43:7a)

B. Jesus’ second coming will be in context to the Battle of Jerusalem. The city will be surrounded, resulting in half of it being taken into captivity
(Zech. 14:1-2; Rev. 16:12-16; Zech. 14:1-5)

C. The nations will gather to make war with Jesus.
14 They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with him will be his called, chosen and faithful followers.” ( Rev. 17:14)

(Rev. 19:19; Ps. 2:2a ; 2 Cor. 11:14; Rev. 17:14)

D. Jesus will approach Jerusalem on a white horse after He completes His march up through the land, killing the Gentile armies stationed in Jordan and surrounding Jerusalem. (Rev. 19:11-21)

E. Jesus will enter Jerusalem, arriving at the perfect time to rescue the remnant of Israel. Jesus, as the “greater Moses,” will split the Mount of Olives to rescue them, instead of splitting the Red Sea . The Jews will escape from their enemies through a new valley created in the mountain.

F. The pinnacle of the second coming procession is Jesus’ re-entry into the city of Jerusalem.

To be officially received by the governmental leaders of Israel as their messianic King.
(Mt. 23:39)

G. Jesus will be celebrated as the Son of David in a Hosanna coronation parade that is hosted by the leaders of Israel. The leaders of Israel will open the gates of Jerusalem to Jesus in an official declaration of Him as their messianic King after He rescues them.
(Ps. 24:7-8)

These remarkable patterns that The Lord has put in the Bible help inform us when we are trying to interpret prophetic Scripture.

Any future event should have a prior type in Scripture and we should study the Word diligently to find out to confirm what we may think to be true

And all of this will help us to keep our eyes open to world events as the Word of God becomes more and more of a reality.

2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings. (Proverbs 25:2)
