Teaching Library of Mike Bickle - Fasting

There are three teaching in this Mike Bickle Fasting Series.

1. Understanding the New Testament Call to Fasting
The Spirit is preparing the Church for the greatest revival and the most intense pressure in human history. Radical changes are needed, but they will come. Regular fasting is part of this change, and includes restraining our natural pleasures and/or strengths to position ourselves to receive from the Spirit.

2. Seeking the Lord: 21 Days of Fasting

2I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks. 3I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth…till three whole weeks were fulfilled…11He said to me, "O Daniel, man greatly beloved"… 12He said to me, " Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. 13But the prince [demonic principality] of the kingdom of Persia [Iran] withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes [archangel] , came to help me…14I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days…20I must return to fight with the prince of Persia; and when I have gone forth…the prince of Greece will come. (Dan. 10:2-20)

3. Fasting for Breakthrough:
The purpose of Biblical fasting is to set aside food and time to draw closer to Jesus and to contend for a breakthrough in His kingdom purposes. Fasting is to be first and foremost about pursuing spiritual goals. So during a fast, we give more time to prayer and Bible study.

Each of these ATBS Series includes an audio and handout or study notes to be downloaded as well as a PowerPoint to make the viewing more visual for the Pastors and the youth in thier church
