Photocopy: Bible Verse Visual Aids and‘Sword Play Memory Verse Track’. Activity books for youth. Seven SOAP Daily Devotional Journals photocopy a set of seven for each teen to take home.

AS YOUTH ARRIVE PRIOR TO THE LESSON:
Welcome Teacher/Trainers and students. Get a youth to colour the Bible Verse Visual Aids.

5.TEACHING:
a) Review
Last week we learnt about Soul Ties
We thank God for all the Godly Soul Ties in our lives (Get the youth to come forward and testify of Godly Soul Ties)
• Between parents and their children and brothers and sisters
• Between good friends
• Between brothers and sisters in Christ

Acknowledging and confessing all the Ungodly Soul Ties in our lives
• Between fathers and their sons/daughters
• Between brothers and sisters
• Between you and ungodly companions
• Between believer and unbeliever
• Between sexual partners

Let’s pray, repeat after me.
Heavenly Father, I take back from (name the person) _______________anything he/she has taken from me, that is rightfully mine. I take back (name what was stolen eg purity, innocence, security, a healthy self-image) _______________ I give back to (name the person) _______________anything I took from him/her that is rightfully his/hers.
I place the cross of Jesus Christ between (name the person) _______________ and myself. I will no longer look to (name the person) _______________ except through the cross and he/she will no longer look to me except through the cross. I thank You Lord, for hearing my prayer, and for severing the ungodly soul ties, that I have allowed in my life. Thank You for doing for me, what I cannot do for myself. I love you. I pray in Jesus name. Amen

Pray over the youth: Heavenly Father, as these young people encounter new individuals daily, and their souls may become entwined with another causing them at times to idolize that individual and to lose sight of Your great plan and purpose for their lives. Father, I rebuke every ungodly soul tie that attempts to come their way. Father, today we completely commit and fully trust our lives to You, I ask that You grant them discernment to recognize these ties that are not of You. Father, break every chain that joins these ungodly soul ties to them, these ungodly soul ties that have been formed out of past relationships, out of ungodly connections, any sexual immorality, any dabbling with the occult even through the video games they may have played, books they may have read, the dvd’s they may have watched and the music they may have been listening to. We confess now that these as sins. Lord, we repent and renounce these sins and ask You to forgive us. In the Name of Jesus I now close the door to all occult practices in Jesus name. Amen

• Review and discuss the seven SOAP BibIe Study Devotional Journals from last week.
• Give each youth the next seven SOAP Bible Study Devotional Journals one for each day of the week to follow.

6. APPLICATION/ENCOUNTERING GOD:
Set up the Laptop connected to the sound system to play soft worship music to set the atmosphere.
God wants you free
• He is coming for a bride without spot or wrinkle.
• He has a wonderful call on your life…after deliverance, you’ll know what it is:
• Or, if you know what it is…you’ve been sidetracked…… you’ll be able to begin to move into it.
• For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jer 29:11NIV)
• He has a call on your life that’s more wonderful than you could ever hope or imagine, we are children of the King

CLOSING PRAYER: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I command every portion of my soul (my thoughts, my will, my emotions, my personality and mind) and heart, all of me: spirit, soul and body, that has been fragmented, torn or broken or cursed, to come back into its proper place; …to be healed; every piece of my heart to be returned; my soul to be restored and every bondage and related soul-tie to be completely broken, destroyed and totally detached from me, in the name of Jesus! Father God, in the name of Jesus, I ask now, that You heal my heart and guard it by Your Power and Your Love, and keep my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Make me every which way whole…in every area of my life. I desire to live in a manner that pleases You, and brings glory to Your name. Amen
