Make Jesus Smile -Yolanda Thervil Foundation

Yolanda Thervil Foundation is our Bon Repos base and the host church for the Summer Teacher Training Camp .

The Make Jesus Smile shoebox distribution took place amounst the rubble of fallen walls within the Yolanda Thervil Foundation but the children did'nt seem to mind and a wonderful time was had by all.

Jenny Tryhane the Founder of UCT and Greta St Hill the vice Chair experienced the earthquake in this yard.

The shot below were taken during the quake as the school and orphanage rocked and swayed the orphans fell on their knees in prayer as they saw their home crumbling.

Mama Yol lifted her hands and pleaded for God to have mercy and spare a lifetime of work.

It remains a miracle that the school is still standing and no lives were lost.
