baptist church>>rev carolyn allen Rev Carolyn Allen Reverend Carolyn D. Allen presently serves as the Co-Pastor of Perfecting New Life Full Gospel Baptist Church. She is married to Bishop Kevin D. Allen, Sr., Arkansas State Overseer of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. Reverend Allen believes that the vision of Perfecting New Life Church builds healthy relationships with families in the community. Reverend Allen received her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Prairie View A&M University. She earned dual master degrees in Religious Education and in Church and Community Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Reverend Allen has served in a variety of ministry settings including: Homeless Shelter Chaplain, Hospital Chaplain, and a Missionary in Haiti. She believes that it is not just enough to enjoy your blessings but to spread blessings through the teaching and preaching of the gospel of Christ. Reverend Allen is the First Lady and State Director of Women of the Arkansas State Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship. She is adamant about empowering women by building strong lasting relationships and encouraging self-improvement. Reverend Allen is the founder and C.E.O. of D.I.V.A.S. (Women with Determination, Integrity, Vision, Ability, and Spirituality) an empowerment organization for women. Reverend Allen was called to the ministry at the age of sixteen. After
serving several years as a licensed missionary, she was licensed as a
minister in 1990 and ordained in 1993. |
