Sister Rainey Harris

Rainey is an accomplished actress, singer, and praise dancer who has dedicated her life to serving the Lord. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communications and Theatre from Tennessee State University. Rainey has performed in various places across the United States and in several foreign countries. In 1999, the Memphis Larry Riley Rising Star Award was awarded to her for excellence in Performing Arts. Rainey is an anointed conference and crusade singer who began singing in the church choir at the tender age of 4. Along with other gifts, God has gifted her to minister to his people in a special way through the Arts. She serves as the Director of Performing Arts at Spirit of Life Healing Wings International where she also is the Choreographer of the Healing Wings Charismatic Dancers.

In 2002, Rainey released her debut CD entitled “Be Satisfied”, which includes intimate songs with God, from the heart, with a contemporary flavor. “God is seeking for genuine people who will praise and worship him with everything that is within them; this type of praise and worship epitomizes the restoration of the Tabernacle of David who was a man after God’s own heart because of his commitment and love to God,” says Rainey. Her desire is to lead God’s people in Praise and Worship into the most holy of holies to become one and intimate with the Lord. It is important to Rainey for people to be impacted by the Spirit of God through the Arts that will ultimately bring forth emotional healing and deliverance!
