Kids'EE - Bare Bones

The Gospel is the Good News of Salvation. The Outline of the Gospel is the six main parts of the Gospel message.

Like a train, knowing the Outline of the Gospel helps us stay on track.

Have you ever seen a train getting lost? The train stays on the tracks, having tracks keeps the train going in the right direction.

Knowing the Gospel Outline helps us when we share the Gospel. We'll know where we are and where we want to go when we start

Heaven is a free gift.

It is not something you work for or deserve.

SO WHAT KEEPS US FROM GETTING THIS GIFT?

We all sin, and we cannot save ourselves.

What is sin?

Sin is anything that we think, say, do, or don’t do, that does not please God.

THERE MUST BE A DIFFERENT WAY—

GOD’S WAY!

God is loving, but God is also just.

On the one hand, God loves us and doesn't want to punish us;

but on the other hand, God is just and must punish sin.

Jesus is God.

He came from Heaven to earth.

He lived a perfect life.

He died on the cross and rose from the dead, to pay the penalty for our sins and to purchase a place in Heaven for us.

HOW DO WE GET THIS GIFT OF ETERNAL LIFE?

BY FAITH.

Saving faith is not just knowing about God in your head.

Saving faith is not just temporary.

Saving faith is trusting in Jesus Christ ALONE for our eternal life.
