2004
began a time of intents seeking the face of God. It was a time when
God was moving me into His purpose and preparation for what He had
for me as a missionary. I felt the call of God to be apart of YWAM
Barbados, as a short term missionary and I became a part of a six
member team helping to disciple the student that will be in the school
for the September course.
During this time at YWAM Barbados I believe God released me into my
full purpose as a missionary. I worked with the Discipleship Training
School (DTS) as an outreach leader, a DTS small group leader, leading
DTS intercession groups, working one on one with students, overseeing
DTS work duties and assisting Ann-Marie, the base director's wife,
in the kitchen and hospitality area.
At the end of the 3 months of lectures, it was time
for the 3 months of mission outreach and Mc-Neil, one of the leaders,
and I took a group of 5 students on outreach in Albania
Taking the group was a big challenge for me, praise God for his goodness
and for His guidance in Albania. I had great opportunities to share
in the local churches.
When God gives us a vision we need to be obedience,
if the vision is to minister to the sinner, help the poor, work with
the youth, heal the sick, encouraging His people, or to see the nation
been transfer for the glory of God.
In Jeremiah 29: 11 God reveals He has great plans
for the churches in Albania, but we as a church need to rise up and
put on the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, we must take
the sword of the spirit and declares the word of God. We need to dress
in the full power of God, that men will know we have a vision for
this nation. A vision that this nation will not be lost to the devil,
but the hearts of the people will be to God. Jeremiah 29: 11 said
for I know the plans I have for you declares the lord. A plans to
prosper you and to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future:
as we see there is hope and a future for the churches of Albania to
stand up and declare God words over the nation. God has great plans
for the churches of Albania, plans that no man can change, so we need
to catch the vision and start to work with the vision to see the power
of God in hearts and mind of the people of the land.
September 2003, I became a student
at Youth with a Mission Barbados, where I completed a 6 months
course in Discipleship Training School. The course is divided
into 3 months of lectures and 3 months mission outreach .
As my studies continued, I commenced
the 3 month outreach stage of DTS which took me to Haiti.
While there I had opportunities to work with
many different groups. I ministered to the needs and hearts
of the people.
2005 was my season of training
and equipping for better service for the Lord. I started attending
the YWAM Foundation Community Development. (FCD) course in Mission,
Montana, in the USA.
