Hapstar,
also known as Pastor Happy Akasie was born in Africa.
He is an international artistes and has been to
more than 27 countries around the world,
He has performed for the Mayor of Islington, London.
Also at the Barbados Gospelfest that features artistes like Kirk
Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Alvin Slaughter, Donnie McClurkin, Israel
Haddon,
Trin-I-tee 5:7, Kurt Carr Singers, Helen Baylor, Papa San, Watchman,
Witness, Grace Thrillers, Bridgett Blucher and various artistes
from all round the globe.

Hapstar preaches, teaches and brings the Gospel in
a Hip Hop version to the youth, as he blends it with reggae and dancehall,
original African songs, dances and rhythms.

He desires to see all, young and elderly, serve
God with liberty, happiness and abundance. His passion is to have
a relationship with God and not religion and to bring Words of Living
Waters to quench the world’s thirst and hunger. |
| He has been on tour with the United Nations in Africa
and performed for the HIV/AIDS program in Ghana, West Africa. |

He has recorded in JETSTAR STUDIO - England.
This is on the same label with Sizla, Buju Banton, and many more.
He has had extensive media coverage on Television,
Radio, Newspaper and Magazine in various countries and continents;
performed and ministered in concert to crowds of thousands in England,
Africa, Caribbean, South America, etc.

| Hapstar is a youth pastor and director of “Teenfire
Ministries” – Founded by Bishop Andre Thomas of Living
Waters to the Nations. In collaboration with the ministry of education,
they did motivational speaking, entertainment and ministers in all
the secondary schools in the nation of Barbados, to over one thousand
saved and unsaved teenagers on a weekly basis.
Hapstar is also a Promoter. He invites artistes
from around the globe to the island of Barbados to perform and minister
to the youth of the nation. He has brought artistes like Watchman
(U.K top ragga artiste), C.O.G. (U.S.A Rapper), Royal Priesthood
(Trinidad & Tobago), Baby C. (Trinidad & Tobago), DJ MarshyRedz
(Jamaican DJ & MC), to mention but a few and many local artistes
from Barbados.
Hapstar is now producing and recording his upcoming
Album titled, “Da Headline Newz”, while on a missionary
church planting trip.

Hapstar is married to Denise, whom God sent to perfectly
fit into the missing part of his life, ministry and music. They are
now one and together they bring joy and hope to the world, and at
the same time chasing the Devil out of the land. To God be the glory. |
