Transformation - Unity May Day March 2006
If
My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek,
crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways,
then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.
2nd Chronicles 7:14
Across the world in islands such
as Fiji reconciliation and unity are
evident not only among government and church leaders but among ethnic
groups including Fijians and Indians. Racial tensions have eased and there
is a spirit of unity in the islands.
Church leaders in Fiji report that even members of the
Military involved in the coup, in 2000, now in prison, have become Christians
and asked for forgiveness. Throughout the capital, Suva, the prisoners'
loud songs of worship can be heard on the street outside the jail, as
they worship Jesus in a spirit of reconciliation and hope for the future
of Fiji.

This mighty revival
has transformed not only individuals but whole villages in Fiji. The
Fiji people have been witnessing signs and wonders—even to this
day God is literally healing their land. |
One of the most astonishing aspects of
the revival in Fiji is how God is renewing creation which man has
destroyed. Previously unfruitful trees are bearing fruit, and the
vines are blossoming again. After decades of destruction, coral reefs
are being revived, shoals of fish are returning to the island's waters
and rivers. |
