Caribbean Children's Prayer Network

United Caribbean is committed to establishing a Caribbean Children's Prayer Network

United Caribbean is committed to establishing a Caribbean Children's Prayer Network we believe that God will move over our region to enable this dream to become a reality as His will is done and His Kingdom come in the Caribbean.

Seen here the children of Barbados with Maureen Bravo lifting the world in a net of prayer.

God 'chooses the weak things of the world to shame the strong' (1 Corinthians 1:27), out of the mouths of babes will come forth perfect praise. God uses their praises 'to silence the foe and the avenger' (Psalm 8:2).

“Dear Lord, forgive us for not noticing the children, for pushing them aside and keeping them occupied instead of seeing their value, their faith, and their humility. Teach us to become like little children, and show us how to teach them and release them into intercession, ministry, and the harvest. Forgive us for not understanding that CORPORATE PRAYER means intergenerational prayer. Bless the children around us and show us how to nurture them and emulate them—in Jesus’ Name." Alice Patterson

"For I will raise up a faithful generation for myself from amongst the children of the nations. They are a missionary generation with a vision for revival, to love their Lord, to love the lost, and to love the church. I am restoring the priesthood to be a worshipping, interceding, prophetic evangelistic people. The Samuel generation represent such a people and includes many children.

"I will raise up for myself a faithful priest." 1 Samuel 2:35

"The Samuel generation will be the church that acts! The Samuel generation are the paradigm. Radical holiness, purity, devotion, and availability are required from this generation. They are called out, set apart, and sanctified for me and by me. I am rising up a Nazarite generation of little children whose posture before me will be to place their relationship with me as priority. They will confront corruption in the purity of chastity. I will not treat their offerings to me with contempt because they are offered from pure hearts."

For the most part after 25 years, tremendous prophecies given by well-respected men and women of God over this generation are still largely unfulfilled. these are prophecies of revival, and signs and wonders at the hands of children and youth. We've seen glimpses of them spotting the nation and the world, but not their fullness. Paul says that we must make war with the prophecies that have been given to us by the laying on of hands. In other words we have to fight for the promises spoken over this generation. < Read more >

Children’s Prayer Network

United Caribbean is committed to establishing a Caribbean Children's Prayer Network The vision of the Children’s Prayer Network is to mobilise and network praying Christian children; to support and encourage the nurturing, discipling, training and equipping of these children, to enable them to take their place in God’s family as part of the army He is raising up to reach this generation.

The Beginnings
In 1993 “Lighthouse” began at St. Paul’s, Wahroonga in Sydney – an after school group which trained children to use puppets, drama and dance as an outreach and evangelism tool. In 1995 Lighthouse became a children’s prayer group and in May of that year three of its members travelled to Seoul, Korea to attend the Global Consultation on World Evangelisation as praying delegates, along with 35 other children from eight different countries. This was possibly the first time in history that children were a part of a world conference of such significance.

The Role Of Children In the Prayer Movement

United Caribbean is committed to establishing a Caribbean Children's Prayer Network Those who know me personally would be amazed that I’m interested in children. You see, my Dad (Travis Jaquess) and my brother are the ones in the family who have always loved children and have had a call on their lives to minister to them. I remember Dad telling us about the vow he made to God in a foxhole in Germany, “If you let me get back home alive, I promise to win as many boys as possible to You before they are faced with a situation like this." Dad, a new Christian, was a Medic during World War II. When he got home, he kept his promise by working with Royal Ambassadors, teaching 9-year-olds in Sunday School, and serving as the Boy Scout Master. His experiences in World War II, where he saw men shoot off the end of their foot to keep from going to the front line, where he saw men die cursing God, and where he saw others die with a prayer on their lips became the tools that God used from my Dad’s lips to share the love and power of Christ and to draw young boys to Him. My brother, David, has a degree in Christian education which he now uses at New Life Ranch, a Christian family camp in northeastern Oklahoma. His programs not only introduce kids to Jesus, but they train them in discipleship and ministry. Although I love our two sons very much, my heart has always been for leaders. So what is all this about children, Lord?

Joel News

United Caribbean is committed to establishing a Caribbean Children's Prayer Network 170 representatives of children's prayer networks from 50 nations gathered in Malaysia for a unique global consultation. It was a time to hear corporately from God and share experiences and strategies in encouraging children to become agents of transformation through prayer for their communities, nations and the world.

There seems to be a true prayer revival among children in many countries in the world. A move of prayer in an Indian children's home came after the girls there were challenged to read and memorise Bible verses, and God showed them the truth and reality of his Word. Children see remarkable answers to prayer, as God 'chooses the weak things of the world to shame the strong' (1 Corinthians 1:27), and He values children's humility, openness, eagerness and faith.

One of the organizers of the consultation said: "We were reminded of how strategic children's prayers can be, and that God uses their praises 'to silence the foe and the avenger' (Psalm 8:2). Children's prayer should not be limited to 'close-to-home' matters - we need to equip young people to pray for global issues such as politics, children at risk, HIV/AIDS and so on. As they take up the authority that God gives them, we will see amazing change. We were encouraged by stories of God raising up children regarded as the 'least' in society, turning their lives around as Christians support them, and using them powerfully in prayer."

"A Word for Children"

United Caribbean is committed to establishing a Caribbean Children's Prayer Network UNDERGROUND NETWORK OF PRAYING CHILDREN

The Lord has been gathering an underground network of praying children and young people. They may not currently meet in huge numbers, but that is because if "we" (the church) "got our hands on it" too early, "we" would inadvertently mess it up!

CHILD CHAMPIONS OF PRAYER AND FAITH WILL ARISE

"The child prayer movement has not been strong enough to release fully into the public domain until now, but in the next 12-24 months I am going to cause child champions of prayer and faith to rise up in their generation, and their words will be powerful and prophetically anointed.

"They will require mentoring in like manner as Eli mentored Samuel, in order that they can be trained to discern my voice for themselves and respond to me in obedience, for it is my desire that none of their words will fall to the ground. There is a need for this generation to be nurtured and discipled. They are a hungry generation.

"I am teaching children how to develop a personal relationship with me, and giving them an understanding of the need for quality time alone with me as well as time together with other
children. I have placed an "all or nothing" desire in the hearts of these children. They cannot and will not settle for any kind of
compromised Gospel message. They are hungry for spiritual truth."
