The Nazarene church in Goniave hosted this years Make Jesus Smile shoebox distribution

Thanks once again to the Western Light Nazarene Church Sunday school for packing hundreds of Make Jesus Smile shoeboxes for the Nazarene children in Haiti.

A special thanks to Marva and her family for their continued help and support.

The Nazarene church in Goniave hosted this years Make Jesus Smile shoebox distribution and Janelle and Daniel Noel were well organized to ensure all ran smoothly.

This young couple are based in the Barbados YWAM and worship at Jackson Nazarene church.

The Church of the Nazarene has grown rapidly since Dr. Paul Orjala opened the work in 1950. Today there are:

11 districts: Each led by a Haitian District Superintendent. Three districts are self-supporting.

Over 90,000 members.

523 established churches. All have Haitian pastors.

The Haiti Hot Lunch Program provides nutritional support to 20,000 children.

127 pastor's children receive financial support for schooling through the "PK" Sponsorship Program

The Bible College trains Holiness pastors for ministry in the Haitian context.
