At last thankfully our sewing machines have arrived in Haiti.

Our sewing project is based at Ducis, on the outskirts of Les Cayes.

Here, women have been selected and trained to use sewing machines donated by Semence Benie to the project.

The project is earmarked to make school uniforms and children’s clothing, with possibilities for expansion. Our focus will be determined by needs as they arise.

These are some of the boys from Arc En Ciel Orpahanage who will benefit from this program.

Semence Benie’s sewing project will be spearheaded by these women seen here with sewing machines donated by PriceSmart and sewing paraphernalia donated by Sewing World in Barbados.
