Sprouting Stars - Fishing project
Fishing is part of our overall self-sustainability
program. Semence Benie has its own fishing boat to provide fish
for the children in our orphanages and outreach programs, as well
as for sale.
Long term sustainability ensures best practices
that can be replicated in other community-based integrated initiatives.
Plans are underway for the boat to be used as a means of transportation
in select areas for persons wishing to make short trips between
communities in peak hours. This will also generate added revenue.
