Sprouting Stars - Organic Farming
'Eating what you grow' is central
to the vision and mission for the children of Semence Benie. Small
wonder then that the children also participate in planting and nurturing
a home-based vegetable garden on the compound to grow fruits and
vegetables for their own consumption.
Tending the vegetable garden, located next to the
chicken house, engenders the practice of self/collective responsibility
in keeping with the overall philosophy and vision of Semence Benie.
