Medicare has been a huge problem in Africa, especially in East Africa where we are operating. Malaria and simple aliments has been rampant and have seen so many children and young people not forgetting pregnant women lose their lives. That is why Springs of Hope has taken the initiative and the burden to want to curb this problem and improve on the life span of the loved ones.

Springs of Hope is also looking forward to having a number of a local nurse or health care provider, who will provide acute medical care for the children and staff.

Our goal is to provide care for the orphans and staff at our centers; and establish an inventory of medications and medical supplies that can also be shared with the district Doctor in charge of the area. This will promote good will and help the community with much needed medical supplies.

As opportunities arise, medical teams will also come in to assist the local Doctors and provide free medical clinics. It is very hectic and very demanding as hospitals are very far and not at the reach of the people of the community. In any case its very expensive medically.
