The purpose of Springs of Hope Care Ministries Discipleship Training is to magnify the name of Jesus by intentionally Introducing, involving, impacting, and inspiring obedient, disciple-making followers of Jesus Christ.

Introducing:

Evangelism- “So Jesus said…” John 8:31

We are intentional about seeking and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost men, women, and children who work, live, surround, and depend upon the ministry of the ministry of Springs of Hope within East Africa specifically in Uganda and Kenya where we are working at the moment.

Involving:

Belief- “Jews who had believed him…” John 8:31

We are intentional about leading the lost men, women, and children who work, live, surround, and depend upon the ministry at Springs of Hope to an initial understanding and belief in their need to surrender to Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

We recognize that only the Spirit of God can lead a person to believe God’s truth about Jesus (John 6:44,) but we also recognize that God has chosen to use His true followers as instruments to proclaim His message of salvation through faith alone in Christ alone (Colossians 1:28.)

Impacting:

Discipleship- “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,…” John 8:31
We are intentional about impacting the believing men, women, and children who work, live, surround, and depend Springs of Hope Care Ministries ,THROUGH a defined and intentional process of leading these individuals to abide in God’s Word.

In John 8:31 Jesus defines his disciple as someone who abides (dwells, continues, remains, consumes, devours) in His Word. A true disciple of Jesus Christ has an intimate understanding of the commands and commission of God.

Inspiring:

Knowledge- ...you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”
John 8:3.

The only source of Truth is revealed in Jesus Christ. When a disciple of Jesus Christ knows and understands that Jesus does not just teach Truth but He is the actual provider of Truth the disciple is freed to obey and follow the example and commands of Jesus.

We believe that when a disciple of Jesus Christ knows His Truth they will act upon that Truth and will actively seek to make disciples at home and around the world.

Information for Pastors:

"Go into all the world…" what a tremendous privilege it is to be serving the Lord on the foreign mission field. Christians worldwide should be celebrating the fact that our Savior is alive, and that we have the opportunity to share this Good News with everyone we meet – in foreign lands, and in our back yard.

All it takes is saying “Yes, Lord, I will.”
