Uganda cannot solely rely on government to
bear the burden of improving education service delivery. Rather,
all stakeholders should be involved, it advises.
The commissioner for Private Schools in Uganda,
Robinson Nsumba-Lyazi, seen here, urged parents to
take responsibility for the education of their children.

“More often than not, parents rely on government
to fully facilitate their children’s education and yet our work
will always be focused on the larger national picture,” he
said while reading the speech of the ministry of Education permanent
secretary.
“There is only one party for whom achievement
of an individual is paramount. The role of parents is critical.
We are all in this together,” he added
