Basil Maughan BA, MA, is the secretary of Proteqt Children’s Foundation, Barbados. He is also a member of the Solidarity Toastmasters Club. Basil has had a very varied work experience, having been in office supply sales, the airline field (both operations and cargo) and university administration, retiring from the last mentioned position in 2012.

He has traveled widely in the Caribbean, South and North America and speaks English, French and Spanish.

He is married and has one daughter.
