Malawi - Women's Empowerment - Liberty Centre

It is our aim to establish a dress making and fashion design course as part of our Malawi Women's Empowerment program.

Enabling the women that pass through the course to make a career of fashion design, to run your own business as a designer/ dress maker.

It will enable the women to be competent at making their own or theirr children's clothes.

This dressmaking course will be structured to teach the women in the program an awareness of both fashion items and the industry by encouraging them to experiment with various African fabrics, patterns, and the basic equipment needed for garment construction..

Ideally we want the women to be compitent to start their own business within their community and even train other young ladies in their village.
