UCT proposes to build on the fourteen acres at Fortesque an International Spiritual Renewal Residential Timeshare Retreat Centre called ‘Goshen Retreats- Barbados’ (“GR-B”), which will be the first of its kind in the Caribbean.

THE GROUND FLOOR: the ground floor of GCR will be over 22,600 sq ft and will host three 2,400 sq ft conference rooms seating 660 people and one smaller 1,920 sq ft conference room for intimate gatherings of approximately 160 persons. There will be a formal dining room seating approximately 200 people; an additional dining area in more casual buffet bar setting; and an outdoor dining area in the ‘Oasis Patio’.

Additional seating can be arranged in the beautiful Jardine Varandas running the rull length of the Conference Facility.

THE FIRST FLOOR: the first floor consists of 12,420sq ft accommodation area that sleeps 100 people. The accommodation will be made up of 16 rooms sleeping 6 beds per room to include two toilets and a shower per unit.

There will be two private studio apartments, each having its own private patio and meeting room. Also on the first floor is a spacious 2,760 sq ft roof garden and recreational facility situated above the conference rooms on the ground floor. The accommodation on the first floor will be marketed to churches locally for retreats as well as regionally and internationally for ‘Mission Trips’ to Barbados, offering reasonably priced accommodation for young and old wanting to have a ‘Missions Holiday’ in Barbados.

The west elevation will back onto the cliff that runs north to south along the western border of the property. This will give a beautiful lush backdrop for this lovely Conference Facility.

THE SECOND FLOOR: the second floor consists of 12,420sq ft accommodation area that sleeps 100 people. The accommodation will be identical to the first floor with two penthouse studio apartments. The rooms on the first and second floor face east and will have distant views of the rolling Atlantic, which is only a 10 minute walk from GCR.

Each of these floors have their own conference rooms and buffet style dining rooms they can be set formally for special occasions such as weddings

DINING FACILITIES: there will be four ‘Chattel House’ style restaurants (the “Restaurants”) clustered around the communal swimming pool which will be located in the south west corner of GCR. The Restaurants will serve local ‘Bajan’, Chinese, Indian and Italian cuisines which will provide variety of culinary choices. These Restaurants will be tendered to top quality restaurateurs who will have complete oversight of them for a monthly rental. Figures for the Restaurants have not been included in the projected financials

RESIDENTIAL VILLAS: within the grounds of GCR will be Caribbean architecturally styled cluster development condos and villas which will be the first ever eco friendly, hurricane and earthquake resistant Christian timeshare residences in Barbados called ‘Glory Share’.

Within the 14 acres will be 48 one bedroom condo four star apartments, 82 two bedroom apartments, 12 two bedroom duplex properties, 3 three bedroom villas and 3 four bedroom villas.

The villas will be clustered within their individual circle, a total of three circles making up the development, affording the residents of the cluster privacy within their own environment.

Each circle will consist of a private swimming pool and spacious deck with lounge chairs and shaded tables, nestled in a beautifully landscaped tropical garden. The amenities will include a covered barbecue area, outdoor showers and a children’s play area.
