What is more, since there are no patches of the system
chases – that are, instead, always visible in the
traditional systems – the plaster will turn out to
be homogeneous and improved as for quality and even from
an aesthetic point of view.
The modularity of the Emmedue® system allows an absolute
flexibility of design and a high level of integration with
other construction systems.
The simplicity of assembly, the extreme lightness and the
ease of handling of the panels

Blast resistance:
EMMEDUE® has evaluated for blast resistance some panels
of different combinations of high strength cement together
with different styles of M2 steel reinforced EPS building
panels. The panels were tested against a commercial high
explosive in a test chamber optimized to produce a uniform
blast wave at the face of the panels.
|
|
EMMEDUE® panels have successfully overcome the various
tests.
Convenience:
The EMMEDUE® panels represent a real advantage both for the
final users and the firms since they permit to obtain better performances
than the traditional products and at more reduced costs.
Rapid installation:
Several experiences carried out in various conditions, in many
countries of the world and using different labourers, have shown
a remarkable shortening of the time of realization as for the constructions
carried out with the EMMEDUE® system if compared to those carried
out with the traditional systems, thanks to the use of an industrial
product which optimizes the assembling sequences and reduces the
operations of the construction site personnel to a minimum.
Lightness:
The EMMEDUE® panels are lightweight and sufficiently rigid
at the same time, even before their finishing with spritz-beton,
(sprayed concrete) so that they turn out to be extremely manageable
and easy to handle and to assemble even in the most uncomfortable
operating conditions.
Versatility:
The EMMEDUE® building system favours absolute design flexibility,
since it is equipped with a full range of building elements: load-bearing
walls, curtain walls, floors and stairs.
Furthermore any kind of geometrical form, either plane or curve,
is easily obtainable just by simply cutting the elements at the
site.
Compatibility:
EMMEDUE® is a versatile construction system which is completely
compatible with all other existing construction systems; in fact,
EMMEDUE® products are suitable for completing reinforced concrete
or steel structures. In addition, EMMEDUE® products can be easily
associated with other construction elements, such as wooden roofs
and pre-stressed, brick or slab floors, and can even be utilised
with plasterboard walls. EMMEDUE® products can also be used
in conjunction with any type of finish available on the market and
can be adapted to all types of doors and windows.
EMMEDUE® structures do not limit designers to choosing certain
products for completing their buildings.
Wide choice of finishing:
As for their finishing, the walls realized with the EMMEDUE®
panels can be completed both with the application of a thickness
covering directly on the raw plaster and, as an alternative or a
traditional paint on the smoothened plaster. Finishing of any type
are possible without any limitation.
Cyclone resistance:
Buildings realized with the EMMEDUE® system in areas with
high risk of cyclones have proved, throughout the years, their capacity
to withstand the passing of the most destroying cyclones, thus confirming
the high resistance of the EMMEDUE® buildings to the complex
strains and thrusts of the force generated by cyclones.
Environmental impact:
Buildings consume large amounts of energy and the greatest wastes
arise from heating and cooling them. Energy saving is the answer
to reduce rising energy costs and CO2 emissions.
CO2 emission reduction
Up to 40%* in the realisation of the building.
Up to 65%* during its use.
MOBILE FACTORY:
The Emmedue Mobile Plant is
a “turnkey” solution that makes it possible to transport, install
and start up an Emmedue production plant anywhere in the world;
this solution is particularly ideal for large construction projects
in remote areas, or where issues with logistics may prevent the
installation of traditional plants.

FIXTURES AND FITTINGS:
All our floorings comply with LEED, which is the U.S. Green Building
Council’s (USGBC) rating system that stands for “The
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design” (LEED).
This system encourages and accelerates global adoption
of sustainable green building and development practices
through the creation and implementation of universally understood
and accepted tools and performance criteria.

This ‘Glory Share’ Development
will use Photovoltaics that can now be integrated into the
roofing panel (BIPV) They come with a complete, standardized
solar roof system that includes all schematics and specifications
for all electrical components with a 25 Year Limited Power
Output Warranty.
|
These thin-film solar laminates are fused to the surface of
the roofing panel substrate. The panel/laminate bond that’s
created has been tested and proven to withstand wind forces of
160 mph.
The World Bank reports that 80 countries now have water shortages
that threaten health and economies while 40 percent of the world
— more than 2 billion people — have no access to clean
water or sanitation.
More frequently water is being likened to another resource that
quickened global tensions when its supplies were threatened. A
story in The Financial Times of London began: "Water, like
energy in the late 1970s, will probably become the most critical
natural resource issue facing most parts of the world by the start
of the next century." This analogy is also reflected in the
oft-repeated observation that water will likely replace oil as
a future cause of war between nations.
This first ever totally Eco Friendly Resort will use a grey
water recycling system that treats and recycles waste water captured
from the bathroom sink to flush the toilet.
The System captures, filters, and reuses shower, tub, bathroom
sink, laundry, and other sources of good water (greywater),
50% of all water used inside a residence. From an average
3.2-person home, this annual flow is 46,000 gallons of water,
year after year. Large families, apartments, dorms, all
produce even more water!
|
|
That grey water is then used in The System's underground drip
system. It is at least 30% and up to 60% more efficient than sprinklers.
We will be practicing rainwater harvesting. Rain Water Storage
Tanks are an economical and environmentally friendly solution
for rain water collection. The Collapsible Rain Water Tank can
be stored in out of site areas such as crawl spaces, under porch
or deck areas, or utility sheds. This helps to provide you with
the rainwater storage you require, without taking up unnecessary
floor space.
Rainwater collection tanks have often been connected to sprinkler
systems, water utilities, and even fire suppression systems.
Instead of having to dig hundreds of septic tanks and wells we
are researching a revolution in the composting toilet industry
that shatters any misconceptions about what composting toilet
system can be by bringing both function & style to the bathroom.
This system is environment-friendly, and recycles waste into compost.
All decking will be of Composite Bamboo which is made of
100% recycled materials - 30% bamboo fibers and 70% plastic.
The bamboo composite is denser and stronger than other wood
composites on the market. This means that it will last longer
and require less maintenance. It is extremely durable and
scratch resistant.
|
|
|
Bamboo flooring will be utilized in our Eco
Friendly Development it is one of the hardest natural materials
available for flooring and is an excellent alternative to
hard wood flooring. Bamboo has a higher fibre rating than
any hard wood, which gives it exceptional hard wearing qualities.
|
Twice the density and strength of almost any other flooring
in the world, this remarkable achievement in engineering
design and aesthetic beauty stands alone in the world of
flooring.
|
|
This Glory Share Resort will be a unique development not only
because of its Eco Friendly Construction but because of the untapped
niche market that it will be marketed to.
Sustaining the Humanitarian arm of the business –
The WISH Centre
United Caribbean Trust is aware in these economic times that
purchasing and maintaining such a massive humanitarian project
is unrealistic dependent on donations only but we believe that
this excellent development project will address a niche market
that has not been taped in Barbados or throughout the Caribbean.
Our ability to purchase this property and establish The WISH
Centre hinges on this development as the funds required to purchase
and sustain The WISH Centre will be generated through the development.
