In February 2007 Messiah Wesleyan
Holiness Worship Centre - "Messiah's House" hosted
a service of thanksgiving to God for all the benefits that the
Caribbean region has derived from cricket. Even in the absence,
and with the slowness, of unifying institutions the game of
cricket has proven at times to be the unifying link. The service
was one of intercession for the success of Cricket
World Cup 2007.
