Celebration Praise & Worship, Thanksgiving and Blessing on Easter Bank Holiday

The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for Cricket World Cup 2007 (CWC 2007) agreed to the hosting of a time of Celebration Praise & Worship, Thanksgiving and Blessing held on Easter Bank Holiday at the new Kensington Oval, involving the Christian community across Barbados .

This was the first Christian event in the NEW Kensington Oval , and preceded the hosting of the CWC 2007 round of matches here in Barbados. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to bless the NEW Kensington Oval stadium and the CWC events to come!

The event took the format of worship together with prayer and special music provided by several colleagues and local music ministers.

The body of Christ grasped the opportunity to invoke the blessing of Almighty God over this new facility and joined together to glorify God and invited His presence and evoked His lordship over Kensington and our nation Barbados.
