Catch
the Wave - Barbados
|
'Catch the Wave' cruised into
Barbados and washed over our island with a Spiritual Tsunami
of prayer.
Joining the team was Mozambique missionary
Heidi Baker. |
Heidi
spoke in Kelowna on 26th February 2007. She was describing the current
situation in Mozambique after the
recent Cyclone Favio hit the
country. Apparently 300, 000 families are without homes or food
in central Mozambique . Children are screaming for food and shelter.
The only people helping at this moment are
Iris Ministries. The need is huge and desperate as many thousands
may die from starvation. No world agency has responded to date.
Please get the word out. Money is desperately needed
to purchase food in the region and then for containers of food to
be sent for longer term care. We the church must respond in this
urgent hour. Please pray as to what you can do.
Please feel free to distribute this note as widely
as possible.
