A large dining room is housed
at the end of one of the lounges and can comfortable sit 14
people, additional tables can be set up in this room if needed.
The food is good, Haitian food with lots of
freshly squeezed natural fruit juice. |
The downstairs lounge is Mama
Yols lounge but is often used by Missionaries.

Upstairs is reserved for missionaries that may want to enjoy a week on a Short Term Mission Holiday .
|
There is a large open deck leading off from the communal living room overlooking the mountains of Port au Prince.
This is a lovely , breezy place to sit especially
early morning and in the cool of the evening. |
Upstairs there is a spacious lounge
leading out onto the open deck and a well equipped modern kitchen
and dining room that could service 14 people comfortable. |
|
The Pastor is an excellent
chef and lives upstairs at the Mission House.
Breakfast can be served upstairs and enjoyed
out on the deck in the warm morning sunshine. |
|
|
There are two enormous bedroom that could sleep 14 people.
Seen here there female bedrooms with a king
size bed this room has a private en suit bathroom ... |
and its own entrance out onto a
private deck that seats four. This south facing deck is a great
place to watch the sunset. |
|
Nine stretcher beds have been donated
to the Mission House that now enables us to house 14 Missionaries. |
|
The second male bedroom has a king
size bed and five stretcher beds. |
|
|
It shares the bathroom with
the other bedroom used by the Pastor.
Unfortunately there is NOT running water but
water is fetched upstairs by the staff at the Mission House.
So we advise missionaries to be careful with the use of this
precious water! |
The Mission house is located next door the the orphanage, the school and church, separated by a green hedge.
The entire property is surrounded by a tall wall and presents a very safe environment, a natural and Spiritual oasis in the heart of Port au Prince, with enormous potential for outreach.
|
Just 20 minutes drive from the airport this makes an ideal Mission House and United Caribbean Trust is excited about the possibility of encouraging missionaries from the Caribbean and North America to visit and get involved in numerous projects that we are partnering with the Yolanda Thervil Foundation to see come to fruition. |
|
The other side of the property is owned by Mama Yol's brother and is planted with banana trees, this would be ideal for an agro project to help feed the children.
The large plot of land next to the orphanage is for sale and we are trusting God for the funding needed for that extensive project. |
