Consett bay, is one of many sheltered fishing harbours
in the parish of St.John.
On our hike from The WISH Centre to Bath this is a great
place to stop off and purchase a cool drink or have a snack.
For centuries fishermen have landed
their catch in this lovely bay and there is a long jetty,
which stretches into the Atlantic and is a perfect place to
watch the goings on.
Consett Bay has changed little
in over 50 years since I was a little girl and dad use to
take me with him to fish off the jetty!
From Consett Bay the hike continues to Bath Beach.
