Consets bay, is one of many sheltered fishing harbours in the parish of St.John.

Consett bay, is one of many sheltered fishing harbours in the parish of St.John.

On our hike from The WISH Centre to Bath this is a great place to stop off and purchase a cool drink or have a snack.



 
For centuries fishermen have landed their catch in this lovely bay and there is a long jetty, which stretches into the Atlantic and is a perfect place to watch the goings on.

Consett Bay has changed little in over 50 years since I was a little girl and dad use to take me with him to fish off the jetty!
