Who is AACC Inc?

Agapé In Action Community Connections Inc (AACC Inc) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered as a non-profit organization with the Corporate Affairs and Intellectual Property [CAIPO] in Barbados. Its office base is currently at the Desmond Haynes Sports Complex, Holders Hill St. James. The organization was officially launched on November 17th 2001 on the hard court of the Desmond Haynes Sports Complex commencing two (2) weeks of Activities entitled Something To Shout About. The organization was subsequently registered with the Corporate Affairs and Intellectual Property Office [CAIPO] in an effort to gain a firmer foundation for lobbying on behalf of our community. After much perseverance, we received our Certificate of Incorporation dated August 2nd 2002, on Thursday, October 17th 2002.

Since our launch we have been actively involved in the development of our community through the conducting of motivational talks and other developmental projects. One of our major initiatives have been a pilot project entitled the Scholars Empowerment and Values Development (SEVDEP) program which focused on children between 10 & 15 years with a tendency towards deviant and antisocial behavior, and offered parental guidance to their parents and guardians. Another initiative has been our “To Haiti With Love…” food drive and Relief Concert which is in collaboration with Voices For Haiti a non profit organization based in the USA with an arm in Haiti. Through this effort we have been able to make and form closer linkages with the East Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventist- Personnel Ministries Department, ADRA, Aja, United Caribbean Trust- Jenny Tryhane the UNDP, United Nations Association of the West Indies (UNAWI). Agapé In Action Community Connections Inc continues to remain committed to partnering with persons and groups which have a similar interest in the mission of the organization.

What is our Mission?

Mission Statement – “Agapé In Action Community Connections Inc, exist “To rebuild the broken lives of the marginalized and disenfranchised of society, through catering to their *social, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs and helping them to connect to their Creator and to each other.”

What is our Strategic Vision?

Our Vision is to become an NGO/Ministry which clearly represents God as one who is deeply interested in the *total development of mankind, no matter their class, race, gender, or socio-economic condition.
