began in 2000 with project Hope 2000 which was organized by the
Women’s Ministry department of the Northeastern Conference
of Seventh-day Adventists, when she an d her husband began sending
barrels to a Haitian Seventh-day Adventist Church .
When Pastor Augustave, a native of Haiti, who had a similar ministry
for over five years prior to beginning his ministry in the Coney
Island Seventh-day Adventist church, they joined forces and with
other church members founded what was then called ‘The Haiti

trips she assisted in distributing food, clothing and medical supplies.
She visited orphanages and with20the aid of other health professionals
conducted health assessments at the orphanages.

she highlighted the work that was done at Seventh-day Adventist
