Traveling from North Point through
the Scotland District, we enjoyed panoramic views of the east
coast.
Years ago the Barbados landscape
was dotted with windmills, now most are derelict however Morgan
Lewis is one of the few complete windmills in the Caribbean.
Originally built in 1776, the mill has been lovingly restored
by the Barbados National Trust
The East Coast is renown for its rugged 'chalky
mount' terrain, miles of untouched, windswept coastline and
rough seas. Swimming here can be dangerous and is not recommended.
During their last visit Michael and Denie
enjoyed a visit toHarrison's Cave
