We should give much thanks to the people of the churches of Barbados and the islands of the Caribbean for keeping their eyes focused on God throughout the days of the games and before the games.

Some of you would not have known that Christians all over the Caribbean spent much time in prayer for the success of the CWC and we are very happy to see that our payers were answered.

You would realise that the local organising committees made many plans for the event, but without the prayers of the saints, it would not be as safe as it was, so I just want to say thanks to all those who spent much time in prayer in their homes, offices, schools, churches; prayer groups, prayer warriors and clubs.

We should always remember that "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16).
