Restoration Ministries International - Refuel history

Lisa Marqueta Martin is the wife of Pastor Donovan Martin. They have been married for the past seven years. Lisa, at the age of nineteen was actively involved in Women’s Aglow International and a year later was given the position of Teens Aglow President which she held for five years becoming involved with the youth throughout the island of Barbados.
Together Lisa and Donovan have coordinated many Mission Outreach programs throughout the region and the USA where they were privileged to see many lives transformed through the power of God’s Holy Spirit.
They are the Regional Directors of Caribbean Lifetime Missions, which is an International Interdenominational organization with its headquarters in Atlanta Georgia. Because of this they travel extensively and believe strongly that they have been given the mandate to go into the entire world.

While in Atlanta Lisa asked God for direction in what theme we should use for our Youth Retreat. "I glimpsed at a flier right before me with the words 'Refuel' and that just confirmed what my Spirit was feeling."

Originally this project was a Youth Aflame Retreat but the direction the Lord was leading was something bigger than just us in Barbados. The growing need to see a unity between youth in the Caribbean and also to see God touch lives and bring about change that would stir the youth to step into the purpose of God and affect their surroundings, such as environs, school, and workplace. Leaving the mark and aroma of God in each life.

The Lord opened up my heart to work along with a young woman Miss Dyan Davis from Trinidad and Tobago who I had already had talks with in terms of locating a venue for our Retreat. Her location made it so appropriate to connect and she would be very resourceful in helping us coordinate this camp. I also found that we shared the same vision with regards to the youth so it was easy for us to begin the process of networking, beginning first with us. She willing agreed and jumped on board.

We continue to give God all the praise for the way He is pulling His body together to fulfill His vision.
